I too am in Venice most months - but I’ll be making a pudding that comes from much further south - the pastiera. The seductive yet subtle scent of orange flower is going to be filling the kitchen soon.

Hello… Easter is my favorite holiday and everything you have described, along with your photos, is absolute perfection! I did not know you wrote cookbooks. I am in the US and I will try to find them. Also, I am not sure if you live in Venice but spending Easter anywhere in Italy sounds absolutely amazing. I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
