I love putting these lists together for you each month. It’s really fun sharing the things that bring me joy; but I also love how this column also works as a happy reminder of what I’ve loved most recently. It’s become almost like a diary, written in a shorthand of sorts: a scrapbook of good things which I enjoy coming back to again and again… And hopefully useful for you too…

I almost never wear black, but this little Sezane dress is the happy exception that proves the rule (and is most certainly worth making an exception for): it’s linen and comfy, has a very pretty neckline and a wonderfully flattering cut; sort of perfect for those days when you’re not too sure what the weather’s doing, and it starts off cold but then the sun comes out and you end up feeling over-dressed. It also packs and travels well; and transitions nicely from day to evening with a little accessories zhuzh. Have been wearing on repeat.

I bought these shorts with safari in mind; but then found they work just as well for the city, styled with a nice, crisp white shirt or cute little black vest and ballet pumps (I would go with these ones). And I feel like - potentially - could be nice for the summer and/or beach too, worn with a little cotton camisole (or similar), sandals, and a basket bag (see below for inspo).

This is my newest obsession and it is TO DIE FOR: little balls of liquorice dipped in chocolate. Sweet but not too sweet; the perfect little pick-me-up after lunch or dinner. They come in all sorts of exotic sounding flavours such as lime crackle, sour strawberry and passion fruit; but my go-to is dark chocolate and sea salt, and salted caramel. Literally: I could eat a jar of these a day, and still be left wanting more…

Hello, hello London friends! We opened our doors yesterday at 48 Elizabeth St SW1W 9PA and will be there until 7th June. It’s been so much fun putting this shop together: many of my favourites from the Tavola collection, as well as lots of vintage (think ‘70s ice buckets shaped like pineapples, wicker baskets in all shapes and sizes, silver tea pots, and other all round fabulous things), stationery, floral posies and more… I’ll be in and out of the shop regularly, so please do come and say hi! We also have lots of workshops coming up too, so have a look at our page here for more details and to book your tickets. There are more being announced in the coming days so please do keep checking.

This is such a nice recipe for sunny days and warmer weather: it’s so ridiculously simple to throw together and everyone (including me!) always loves eating it. It’s one of those ones that works just as well for a cosy family supper (or lunch), as it does for a dinner party with friends. You can find the recipe in my book, A Table for Friends, but if you don’t have the book, you can also find it here.
